It's done! You have just finished your novel or non-fiction book. You finished countless updates with your book organizer and layout artist, and at long last the final zip files have been shuffled on over to your book printer's account. How do you proceed? You definitely do not want to sit back shooting the breeze waiting for your boxes to arrive. The waiting period between sending and obtaining your finished books is the perfect moment to write your book press release.

Keep in mind that you can just hire a third party to write this for you, but assuming you prefer to work on it yourself, here is a proven method for crafting a story that really pops! It may even get you an article in a publication if you do a great job.

1) Determine your angle. The most inspiring book press releases contain a good story. If anything newsworthy took place in your life talk about it. For instance, maybe you had a funny college experience, inspiring you to write a book for incoming college students. Work your story in with an issue that is in the news.

2) Open with a juicy title that is based on your story and book. For instance, "Former Stripper Gives Tips for How to Pay for College". Your sub heading should succinctly support the book press release title with more information.

3) Start off the beginning of your release with a strong, thought provoking, and even clever first sentence.

4) Write more about your story in the next couple of lines.

5) Identify the complete name of your book toward the midpoint and then talk about how this book release links up with your personal history. Write a direct saying from the writer about the book and the author's life. Tell of any new achievements.

6) Write the book title once more and let the viewer of your book press release know where the book can be purchased. You can direct the reader to go to Amazon or another site.

When you are finished creating your masterpiece, scan it and correct it as necessary. You may also want to employ an editor to look it over for you and give you honest feedback. Then is the thrilling step... presenting your release to the world.

With just a quick copy and paste job your book press release will be in front of a large group viewers when you utilize PRWeb. PRWeb's submission service can post your story to readers in only a few clicks. You can then track the progress, such as how many readers selected, printed, and/or forwarded your release to colleagues. This is how you will determine the success of the submission.

And you never know. You could even get interviewed for an article by a major newspaper if your story is compelling enough.
